| Private one-on-one dog training sessions are offered in the privacy of your home. All of our training programs are taught by a Dog Specialist and are Veterinary recommended. We want to graduate well-mannered dogs taught through positive motivational training and to produce graduates that are respectful, reliable, devoted and happy. We train dogs through an understanding of canine behaviour and promote the principle that training should be carried out in a fun, rewarding atmosphere. Our Dog Specialist, Kathleen, was trained in Germany at the Neuenburg Hundschule, where she graduated with honors in 1989..Schooled in manners classes instead of obedience classes, Kathleen's approach to training is rooted in the belief that learning can only be facilitated when a trust relationship has been established between human and dog.. Recognizing the importance of community, Kathleen has been active in many programs.Kathleen and and her dog Lady were 1 of 11 Nurse/Rehabilitation Support Dog teams in the United States. After 20 years of dog training, she has earned numerous therapy and outstanding service awards, used dogs to work with with teens with severe learning and physical disabilities, aiding elementary age children with social disabilities, collaborating on an early readers series to educate children about Working Dogs, Kathleen appears at schools, libraries, and special events encouraging children and adults to participate in Compassionte Dog programs. Kathleen will work with you to establish and define a training program that is tailored to your dog's needs and she will do everything that she is able to make sure that you accomplish the goals that have been defined Kathleen will educate, lend guidance, motivate and encourage you until we have reached our goals. She isn't finished until you have the dog you want. Professionally Kathleen is committed to continuing education. In comunication with the European Dog Training Community, she is continually being motivated to hone her skills and remain advanced in her field. |
